The neuroArm+HD
Designed by surgeons and built for surgical finesse, the neuroArm+HD is a microsurgery-specific haptic device for robot-assisted surgery. With early CIHR funding, the technology has achieved its prototype and technology assessment stage.
A medical grade system presently underway, the device offers a next generation human-machine interface providing the surgeon with an immersive and intricate surgical experience and performance. The system is anticipated to transform robot-assisted microsurgery through a scientific analyses of surgeon-robot interaction.
Intelligent software, secure cloud analytics, custom control algorithms and machine learning are some of the many features that enable a novel platform for inter-connected surgical theatre (currently in progress and patented).
